I've always been interested in the way that we as human beings navigate situations outside our control and how we articulate the forces at play. Is anyone more "lucky" or "unlucky" than anyone else? Does the existence of the concept of luck just point to the ideas of fatalism and divine interference or is it a necessary absolution of human fault?
